WTCC
The first WTCC, which was open to Group A Touring Cars, was held in 1987 concurrent to the long-running European Touring Car Championship (ETCC). Additional rounds were held outside Europe at Bathurst in Australia, Calder Park Raceway in Australia (using both the road course and the then newly constructed Thunderdome), Wellington in New Zealand and Mount Fuji in Japan. The Drivers Championship was won by Roberto Ravaglia in a BMW M3 and the Entrants Championship was won by the Eggenberger Texaco Ford No 7 entry, which was a Ford Sierra. The WTCC lasted only one year and was a victim of its own success - the FIA feared it would take money away from Formula 1 and stopped sanctioning the Championship
F1 Racing
Formula One, also known as Formula 1 or F1, and officially referred to as the FIA Formula One World Championship, is the highest class of Singel sitter auto sanctioned by the Federation Automobile Asosiation (FIA). The "Formula" in the name refers to a set of rules with which all participants' cars must comply. The F1 season consists of a series of races, known as Grand prix (translated to English as "Big Prize"), held on purpose-built circuits and public roads. The results of each race are combined to determine two annual World Championships, one for the driver and one for the constructor, with racing drivers, constructor teams, track officials, organizers, and circuits required to be holders of valid Super licenses, the highest class of racing licence issued by the FIA.

Drag Race
DDrag racing is a competition in which vehicles compete to be the first to cross a set finish line, usually from a standing start, and in a straight line. First gaining popularity in the USA after World War II, the sport steadily grew in popularity and spread across the globe. By 2009, there were hundreds of dragstrips in operation, mainly in developed countries.
Most drag races begin with a standing (stationary) start and are just 1/4 mile long (1,320 ft (400 m)). Races last between 3.9 and 17 seconds, with finishing speeds ranging from 80 to over 330 mph (530 km/h), depending upon the type of vehicle being used. The faster vehicles then need a parachute to slow down, an innovation credited (indirectly) to cartoonist Tom Medley

DTM
DTM – the magical three letters stood for “Deutsche Tourenwagen-Meisterschaft” (German Touring Car Championship) in former times. Today they are the trademark of Europe‘s most popular touring car race series, which began in 1984 with production based cars and peaked in 1996 with a worldwide series for high-tech touring cars. After a three year break, the DTM celebrated a successful comeback in the year 2000 with a ground breaking concept. Today it is considered as the “Top Class” of touring cars and is one of Europe’s largest sporting events.
